Zero Day Phishing Scam Harvests Microsoft Logins

MailGuard has detected a Zero Day phishing scam using fake CBRE branding.

The message contains a download link purporting to be a scanned PDF document from a Xerox Multifunction Printer. This link actually goes to a website designed to harvest victim’s Microsoft login details.

MailGuard has successfully blocked the email sender domains associated with this scam.

It’s been a busy day on the cybersecurity frontline. This is the third malicious email attack MailGuard has intercepted in the last 24 hours, following on the Suncorp and CPA Australia scams earlier in the day.
