The MailGuard team continues to grow, and we’re excited to extend a very warm welcome to our newest team member, Brendan Ma.
Brendan joins us as an Account Executive, a role he describes as a hybrid of account management and sales, where he’ll be taking on a portfolio of partners and clients, as their first point of contact, learning about their businesses and how MailGuard can support them. Brendan will also be responsible for introducing new businesses to MailGuard.
MailGuard’s Director of Service Delivery, Anwar Ibrahim, said “We are thrilled to welcome Brendan to the team. He brings fantastic experience supporting businesses in the travel and real estate industries prior to joining MailGuard, and he’s enthusiastic about making the transition into cybersecurity. I am confident that he’ll be an asset to the customers and partners in his portfolio.”
Coming into this role, Brendan is eager to meet MailGuard’s partners and customers to gain a full understanding of their needs, and in turn the value and support that MailGuard can offer to their business. Brendan is also keen to learn more about the IT and cybersecurity sector. He said “It’s clear just how critical it has become to every business. The cybersecurity industry continues to grow at such a rapid pace, I know I still have much to learn, but I can’t wait. And, at the same time I know we can add so much value to our customers and partner community.”
Outside of work, Brendan likes a game of golf and enjoys playing recreational poker – much like sales, he says “It’s a strategic game, which involves a lot of thinking and relies to an extent on your personality to score a win.” However, his biggest passion is his family. He has a young daughter and loves going to parks, play centres, or doing anything that involves spending time with her and making her happy.
