MailGuard recruits with enhanced customer experience in mind
MailGuard, Australia's first and leading provider of managed email anti-virus, anti-spam, content filtering and email archiving solutions for the business market, has made two senior appointments focused on increasing customer service and support. The company has recently celebrated five years of successfully servicing the Australian SME sector.
Chris Dalley joins as Customer Support Manager, heading up a team of five, and Dave Cheney as Network Administration Manager leading a team of four. Andrew Johnson, MailGuard Director of Marketing, said: "We have doubled our portfolio of email security and archival offerings over the last twelve months resulting in a large increase in customer numbers. Exceeding customer expectations is the driving principle across our operations today. With Chris and Dave's combined experience, we are ensuring the best customer service experience possible."
Dalley has a proven services management track record and strong operational experience. He comes from Hewlett-Packard, having spent the last four years working in the Technology Solutions/Managed Services division. Prior to this, he was with Compaq. Daylley's professional career reveals that he has consistently met help desk service levels, initiated process and quality improvements and provided outstanding customer service. He concludes his Masters in ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library is the global standard for best practices for helpdesk and customer support management) this year.
"I enjoy rolling my sleeves up and leading by example through a hands-on approach," said Dalley. "With MailGuard, I am looking to increase the already high levels of customer service delivery to customers through improving our business processes."
Cheney has had a number of senior network engineering and pre-sales roles with companies such as Aconex, Space-Time Research, Ericsson and Melbourne University. "It's not the technology, it's what you do with it that makes the difference. My sole focus is to ensure that MailGuard's network guarantees that our customers do business smarter, more efficiently and more successfully on a 24x7 basis."
As Network Administrator Manager, Chaney is responsible for the overall administration and uptime of the network at all MailGuard data centres and POP locations. He is also responsible for the backup support of all network functions and systems.
